Politicians say their views are immutable,
And based on facts and figures irrefutable.
But should a big donor find them unsuitable,
Those views will no longer be indisputable.
The pol, after trying to look inscrutable,
Will claim that his old views are now
refutable
And will change them to something much more
suitable.
Thus proving he does intend to be dutiful
To anyone who’ll pay to make him
mutable.
